What you will need to make this Homemade Banana pudding

2 cans of Evaporated Milk Sugar eggs cornstarch butter vanilla  Bananas  Vanilla cookies

In a medium saucepan whisk together the sugar and cornstarch . Slowly add milk making sure you have no lumps

Add beaten eggs and cook on medium heat . Stir from the bottom with a wooden spoon or something similar. Cook until thickened, for about 10 minutes.

Once the custard is thick remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla.

On the bottom of a serving dish add sliced bananas and vanilla cookies.

Top with half of the custard . Then repeat the process of layering cookies, bananas and the rest of the custard.

Top with crushed vanilla cookies.

Serve warm or chilled .
