Ingredients
  

Wedding Cake Waffles

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 egg whites beat until they form stiff peaks
  • cooking spray for waffle iron
  • Fresh sliced strawberries -optional

Almond Whipped Cream-Optional

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Whipped strawberry cream cheese butter-Optional

  • 1 stick unsalted butter -room temp
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese- room temp
  • 2 Tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup of Fresh Strawberry Puree

Instructions
 

Wedding Cake Waffles

  • Add to a large mixing bowl the cake mix, flour and baking powder and whisk together
  • Add the oil, milk, water and both extracts . Blend well
  • In a separate mixing bowl beat the 4 egg whites until they form stiff peaks
  • Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until everything is incorporated
  • Preheat waffle iron
  • Spray with cooking spray
  • Fill the waffle careful not to overfill because these will puff up some
  • Cook until golden brown

Almond Whipping cream

  • Combine heavy whipping cream , powdered sugar and almond extracts in a mixing bowl
  • Beat on high with a wire whisk attachment until peaks form

Whipped Strawberry Cream Cheese Butter

  • Dice up 4-5 Strawberries and puree in a blender or food processor and set aside
  • Blend butter , cream cheese, and powdered sugar until blended well
  • Add 1/3 cup of fresh strawberry puree
