Christmas Cracker Candy

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sleeve of Saltine crackers
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • Christmas Sprinkles
  • 1.8 Minitube of mini M&M's

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Line cookie sheet with foil and lightly spray with non stick spray
  • Line up the saltine crackers on the cookie sheet
  • In a small sauce pan melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat
  • Bring the sugar mixture up to a boil for about 2 minutes
  • With a spoon evenly drizzle the sugar mixture over the crackers then spread it with a rubber spatula to cover all the crackers evenly
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 7 minutes
  • When you remove the cookie sheet the crackers may shift so push them back together
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the crackers and allow them to sit for 5 minutes
  • Spread the softened chocolate chips over the crackers evenly
  • While the chocolate is still warm spread the christmas sprinkles and mini M&Ms to your like
  • Let cool completely
  • Break or cut up candy
  • Store in a container or Ziplock bag in the fridge
