Loaded Potato Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 3 LBS Potatoes
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheeses
  • 6-8 slices of bacon

Instructions
 

  • Peel and cube potatoes and put them on to boil
  • Boil potatoes 15-20 minutes or until tender
  • Dice bacon then cook and drain on a paper towel
  • Drain potatoes and return them to hot pan
  • Add to hot potatoes milk, butter , salt and pepper
  • Mash to consistency you would like , I like a few lumps in mine
  • Stir in half the cheese
  • Stir the sour cream and half the bacon
  • Spread into a 9x13 baking dish
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 20 minutes
  • Remove from oven , top with remaining cheese and bacon
  • Bake for another 20-25 minutes
  • Serve hot
