Boiled corn with Jalapenos and honey is a summer must ! The corn is simmered in a milk and honey bath with jalapenos to add a little bite.

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 Ears of corn
  • Water-Enough to cover the corn
  • 1 cup half & half or whole milk
  • 2-3 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 fresh jalapenos -sliced with seeds
  • 1 stick Butter 1/2 cup

Instructions
 

  • Shuck and clean corn
  • Place the corn in a large boiling pot that has a lid and fill it enough to cover all of the corn
  • Turn the burner to high
  • When the water get warm add the salt, honey, sliced jalapenos and 1/2 and 1/2.
  • Once the water comes to a boil turn it to medium heat so it doesn't boil over
  • Cook the corn for about 8-10 minutes
  • Turn the burner off , drop the butter in and place the lid on the pot
  • Let the corn steep for about 15 minutes
  • Leave the corn in the jalapeno honey milk bath and serve straight from the pot.
  • Serve with a pat of butter and salt if desired.
