Easy Fresh Salsa is such a cinch to make you will never buy the stuff in a jar again. Adjust the spiciness to taste and you will not be able to stop dipping

28 oz can whole tomatoes 1 medium sized onion 1 Jalapeno-If you want spicer salsa a serrano pepper can be used 1 1/2 cup roughly chopped cilantro it's about 2 fist fulls 3/4 cup fresh lime juice 1 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon garlic powder 2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Tortilla chips
In a blender or food processor add the can of tomatoes with the juice
Roughly chop the onion in big chunks and add it
Roughly chop two fist fulls of cilantro amd add it
Cut the steam off the jalapeno and chop the rest of it and add it along with the seeds
Squeeze limes until you get 3/4 of cup of juice and add it
Add sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper
Blend until smooth
Serve immediately with tortilla chips
Store any leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days
