Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking pan with non stick spray
In a mixing bowl whisk together brown sugar , dark corn syrup , melted butter, eggs and vanilla . Mix until Smooth
1 cup Brown Sugar , 1 cup Dark Corn syrup , 1/2 cup Butter , 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Whisk in eggs until completely combined
3 large eggs
Fold in Pecan halves and spread into the prepared baking dish .

Spread the butter pecan cake mix over the filling evenly
13.25 oz Butter Pecan Cake Mix
Sprinkle the brown sugar over the the cake mix evenly then the chopped pecans .
1/3 cup Brown sugar , 3/4 cup pecans
Pour melted butter over the top
3/4 cup Butter
Then pour the hot water evenly over the top .
1 cup Hot Water
Bake in preheated 40-50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly
Allow to cool . Can be served warm or cooled .
Cover leftovers tightly and store at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days. To reheat, warm individual portions in the microwave for about 20 -30 seconds.
