12 oz Fresh Cranberries 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 small shallot chopped 2 medium jalapenos deseeded and chopped 1 bunch cilantro 2 medium Limes-juice only juiced
In a food processor add the cranberries , sugar and salt
Blend until the cranberries are chopped well
Add the jalapenos and shallot to the food processor
Blend until the shallot and jalapeno is chopped well
Add the cilantro and juice of 2 limes to the food processor and blend until the cilantro is chopped well
This can be served immediately but it is better after it chills for a 5-6 hours or overnight
Serve with chips or crackers
Spread over cream cheese or in the place of traditional cranberry sauce
If you don't like cilantro this relish would still be good without it , just omit it
This is good in a sealed container in the fridge for 5-7 days
