Cranberry Jalapeno Relish
This Cranberry Jalapeno Relish is a zesty twist on a holiday classic. It is sweet, tart, and spicy with a refreshing kick of lime and cilantro, it’s the perfect balance of flavors for a festive treat.

This is a very simple recipe , the only special equipment you will need is a food processor . The hardest part is letting it chill .
What you will need to make Cranberry Jalapeno Relish:
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- Sugar
- Salt
- 2 Fresh Jalapenos
- Shallot
- 2 Limes
- Cilantro

Let’s Make Cranberry Jalapeno Relish!

In a food processor blend the fresh cranberries , sugar and salt .

Add the shallot and deseeded and chopped jalapenos , blend well .

Next add the Cilantro, juiced lime and blend well .

Place in a covered dish and chill for 5-6 hours or overnight .

Serve with crackers or tortilla chips . It is a great relish on a charcuterie board.

This is great served over cream cheese , it is the perfect party snack . This relish is very versatile and can be used in the place of cranberry sauce .

Equipment
- 1 Food Processor
Ingredients
- 12 oz Fresh Cranberries
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 small shallot chopped
- 2 medium jalapenos deseeded and chopped
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 2 medium Limes-juice only juiced
Instructions
- In a food processor add the cranberries , sugar and salt

- Blend until the cranberries are chopped well

- Add the jalapenos and shallot to the food processor

- Blend until the shallot and jalapeno is chopped well

- Add the cilantro and juice of 2 limes to the food processor and blend until the cilantro is chopped well

- This can be served immediately but it is better after it chills for a 5-6 hours or overnight

- Serve with chips or crackers

- Spread over cream cheese or in the place of traditional cranberry sauce

This relish is very versatile . It can be served over cream cheese , scooped up with chips or crackers , served along side your holiday meal or even a relish on a charcuterie board .
Yes , this recipe will still be good omitting the cilantro . Just leave it out and don’t worry about replacing it with anything
Stored in a sealed container it is good in the fridge for 5-7 days
This isn’t the best recipe to use frozen cranberries , they really need to be fresh .
