French Dressing Chicken

This nostalgic French Dressing Chicken is sweet and tangy , and the perfect weeknight meal. The skin gets sticky and it holds in tender juicy chicken, everyone will love this.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken thighs -Bone in with skin See notes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 1/2 cup French dressing
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 packet Onion soup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees . Place chicken in a baking pan and salt and pepper them

  • In a small bowl mix the French dressing , BBQ sauce , and onion soup
    French dressing , BBQ sauce and onion soup mix in bowl ready to pour over chicken
  • Pour dressing mixture over the chicken and bake in a preheat oven for 1 hour

  • At 55 minutes spoon the dressing mixture over the skin and basted it well

  • After basting turn the broiler on high for 10 minutes and brown the skin really well . As always check the internal temp of the chicken to make sure it is 165 degrees.

Notes

I have made this with chicken legs but chicken breast would work as well. Just make sure your chicken is cooked thoroughly 
Make sure the internal temp of the chicken is 165 degrees . Cooking times will vary slightly for different cuts and sizes of chicken
