Maple Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

unsalted butter
Room temp

powdered sugar
sifted
1/2
tsp
maple extracts
1/4
tsp
salt

Tablespoon
milk
Instructions
Mix butter until light and fluffy , about 2-3 minutes
Add about a cup of powdered sugar , maple flavoring and salt and mix
Add a little powdered sugar at a time , mixing as you go . Scrape down the sides as needed to make sure everything is incorporated well
Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of milk and mix . If you want it thinner you can mix in the second tablespoon
Mix until smooth and creamy

Notes
This recipe is good for 12 cupcakes , a 9x13 cake and 24 cookies . If you like a lot of frosting on your cake or cupcakes you can double the recipe
