Fruit Salsa
This fresh fruit salsa is made with a medley ripe sweet summer fruit . The fruit is perfectly balanced with the heat of jalapeños and onion, while the cilantro adds another layer of flavor. The salt and lime bring it all together for the ultimate summer salsa . This truly taste of summer and is great served with tortilla chips or even over fish or chicken . This is the perfect way to indulge is the bounty of the summer and use all of that beautiful fruit that is available. - Cutting board
- Mixing bowl
- Lime juicer
- Strawberries
- peaches
- mango
- onion
- jalapeños
- cilantro
- Lime juice
- Salt
Frequently asked Questions
- How long is the good for ? I find this is best chilled after a few hours but served the same day it is made . It gets a little soggy the next day.
- Can other fruit be used? YES , this is a great way to clean out your fridge with ripe fruit. Watermelon , cantaloupe and pineapple would be great additions
- I don’t like cilantro can I leave it out? Yes this would still be really good without it
- How can I make it with more heat? You can leave some of the seeds from the Jalapenos or add habanero pepper
Let’s Make some Fruit Salsa !
Add to a mixing bowl add strawberries , peaches and mango. Remember to dice everything small.
Add cilantro , onion and diced jalapenos , gently toss.
Add lime juice and salt .
Gently toss coating everything with lime juice .
Serve with tortilla chips or over grilled fish or chicken.

Ingredients
- 1 medium Mango Diced
- 2 cups Diced Strawberries
- 2 Cups Diced Peaches I used yellow and white
- 1/4 cup Sweet Yellow and Red Onion Diced small
- 1/2 cup minced cilantro or to taste
- 1 medium Jalapeno seeded and diced
- 2-3 Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Add to a mixing bowl add strawberries , peaches and mango. Remember to dice everything small.
- Add cilantro , onions and seeded and diced jalapeno then gently stir until combined . -If you want more heat add some seeds
- Add Lime juice and salt
- Toss together gently making sure the lime juice has coated everything . Serve immediately or chill for a few hours.
- Serve with tortilla chips or over grilled fish or chicken
