Three pieces of peppermint bark stacked next to a candy cane and a plate of them

Peppermint Bark is the one candy I look forward to every holiday season. The Ghirardelli peppermint bark is one of my all time favorite candies but it has gotten so expensive . It occurred to me I could totally make this using their melting wafers for a fraction of the cost . . It’s simple enough for an afternoon in the kitchen, yet fancy enough to gift to your neighbors, co-workers or party host. If you like this recipe give my Tiger Butter a try.

What you will love about this recipe :

  • Two layers – The dark chocolate gives depth, the white chocolate brings creamy sweetness, and together they make a show-stopping contrast.
  • Minty & festive – The crisp candy cane topping dusted on top gives a classic holiday flavor that also looks beautiful.
  • Minimal ingredients – Just chocolate wafers, candy canes and your basic kitchen tools. Perfect for stress-free holiday baking.
  • Make ahead friendly – Set it, break it, bag it. Your hostess-gift game just went up a notch.
