Snickerdoodle Apple Pie Bars

Snickerdoodle apple pie bars on a white plate

These Snickerdoodle Apple Pie Bars combine a cookie and pie so you have the best of both worlds. These are full of apples and cinnamon , they are the perfect fall dessert.  These are super simple to make and are perfect for any fall event. The warm flavors of cinnamon go perfectly with the apples, one taste and you know fall has arrived.  I don’t know about you but at my house we adore anything made with apples. If you love apples you need to check out my Apple fritters or my Cinnamon apple crisp .

Ingredients needed for Snickerdoodle apple pie bars

What you will need to make Snickerdoodle Apple Pie Bars:

Snickerdoodle cookie dough mixed in a bowl

This is super simple , start by mixing the cookie mix as directed . I find it a bit easier if you beat the egg first and the butter is nice and soft.

Snickerdoodle dough pressed into a pan

Press 2/3 of the cookie dough into an 8×8 baking pan. Then spread the apple pie filling on top of the dough.

Drop the remaining cookie dough on top of the apple pie filling . Now sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar on top of the entire dish. Bake in a preheated oven then allow to cool completely.

Thick glaze mixed in a bowl

Once it is cooled mix the glaze to desired consistency. Drizzle over the cooled dish.

Cut into squares , I got 9 nice sized squares.

Rich: I don’t know what your watching but the only ad is in the very beginning, which is the norm. You can hit the button that says “skip ad” it will take you to the video. There are NO ads in the video itself, you can see it in its entirety There are ads at the BOTTOM of the screen but if your seeing those in the video itself then perhaps you haven’t scrolled up far enough to avoid them. And quite frankly there is no need to be rude Rich, make your statement but be kind. Thank you for the recipe Debbie family loved it, goes great with vanilla ice cream.

Hi! I’m planning to make this for Thanksgiving this year. Would I need to change anything in the recipe if I plan to cook in a pie dish vs a 8×8 square pan? Thank you!
