It is summer time and I am all about no bake desserts!! I also have a small love affair with anything chocolate , and this Whipped Chocolate Candy Crunch Pie is enough to get you “Chocolate wasted”, LOL. If you have never had or made chocolate whipped cream you don’t know what you are missing . It is simply scrumptious and should be on the top of any chocolate lovers must haves. It can be used as a topping , dip or just lick it off a spoon. It is not only incorporated into the light and fluffy pie , this pie is topped off with it.
As much as I love chocolate I also love heath toffee bits. When I was younger a Heath bar was my second favorite candy bar , shortly after a Snickers. To have these wonderful little bits in a bag already crunched up and ready to use is on up there with sliced bread for me. I love baking these in cookies and brownies but adding these little gems to this cool and creamy pie makes this super yummy. It not only adds a little crunch but these bits add a certain richness to this pie and brings it to a whole new level of yumminess.
Making this pie is so easy!! Start off by making the chocolate whipped cream by combining the heavy whipping cream, cocoa, powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip with a wire whisk until stiff peaks form. In another bowl combine instant pudding mix and milk, mix until smooth. Beat in a heaping cup of chocolate whipped cream. Fold in toffee bits and pour into a premade chocolate crust. Drizzle with chocolate then either pipe on remaining chocolate whipped or spread it on. Cover and chill for 3-4 hours. Right before serving sprinkle extra toffee bits and drizzle with extra chocolate.
