Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make Marry Me Chicken Soup ahead of time?

Yes! You can make the soup up to the point of adding the gnocchi and spinach. Store it in the fridge for up to 2 days, then reheat and add the gnocchi and spinach just before serving so they don’t get mushy.

What can I use instead of Boursin cheese?

If you don’t have Boursin, cream cheese or mascarpone will give you a similar creamy texture.

How can I make this soup lighter?

Use milk instead of half and half, skip the Boursin, and reduce the parmesan slightly. You can also swap gnocchi for cauliflower florets or zucchini noodles to cut carbs.

What goes well with Marry Me Chicken Soup?

Crusty bread, garlic knots, or a fresh side salad pairs beautifully with this soup.
