Cottage Cheese Ranch Dip
This two ingredient Cottage Cheese Ranch Dip is thick , creamy and full of protein . This quick and easy dip is a healthy option for a great appetizer.
Don’t let the title of cottage cheese scare you. In the 1980’s cottage cheese got a bad rap and was considered “diet food” . Most people had a love hate relationship with it , including me. Now , I absolutely love it and have recently realized how versatile it is thanks to TikTok. I can not open the app without having a recipe pop up with whipped cottage cheese. Trust me you will fall in love with this high protein Cottage Cheese Ranch Dip and if you don’t tell anyone they won’t even know the difference . What you will need to make this dip :
- 16 oz Cottage Cheese -I used Good Culture but any brand will do . There are so many options out there . The full fat versions will be a little thicker and give you a thick and creamy dip . I like the good culture brand because it offered a good balance of fat and live cultures . This post is not sponsored I just like the brand .
- Ranch Mix -1 packets or 3 Tablespoons of Ranch Dip mix . If you don’t like using the packet you can make your own ranch dip mix . There are a ton of options on the interent just keep in mind to use 3 tablespoons. If you like a little heat ,the spicy ranch mix is a great option
- Food Processor -Tap Here for the one I have and Love. I have been through several food processors and this one has been the best I have used .
- Rubber spatula – rubber spatulas in different sizes is something everyone needs in their kitchen .
- Container with lids -tap Here for my favorite . I love these because they are great for storage and serving .

Frequently asked Questions
Yes , most likely you will. There are no lump curds and the dip mix mixes well so he flavor of cottage cheese is masked
I would refer to the expiration date on your cottage cheese but typically this is good for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
I recommend it . The longer is sets up the better it is . Right after blending the ranch flavor is strong and it does mellow out after setting up .
If you don’t have a food processor a blender is a great option. Also those small smoothie blenders work well . As long as you use something to blend the curds.
